OCSA Steering Group

Helping shape the future of standards in the UK prize-draw sector.

Overview

The OCSA Steering Group is a small, invitation-only group established to help guide the strategic development of OCSA and its standards framework.

It is intended to bring together experienced voices from across the sector to provide informed, constructive input on key issues affecting transparency, fairness, player protection, operator accountability, and the long-term credibility of the online prize-draw industry.

Purpose

The Steering Group exists to support focused, high-level engagement on matters that may influence the direction of OCSA’s work.

This may include discussion around:

  • emerging sector risks and challenges

  • the practical implementation of standards

  • consultation on proposed guidance or frameworks

  • operator realities and unintended consequences

  • opportunities to improve trust and public confidence

How It Works

The Steering Group is not a public discussion forum. Its role is strategic rather than open-ended, and participation is kept intentionally limited so that discussion can remain balanced, productive, and manageable.

Membership may include operators and others with relevant sector knowledge, experience, or insight.

Invitation to participate does not imply endorsement, certification, or any formal regulatory status.

Expression of Interest

Participation is by invitation only.

However, we recognise that there may be individuals or organisations with valuable experience who are not yet known to us. If you believe you could make a positive and constructive contribution to the OCSA Steering Group, please email us to express your interest in being considered.

OCSA may review, refresh, and expand Steering Group membership from time to time in order to maintain an appropriate balance of experience, perspective, and sector representation. Expressions of interest that are not taken forward immediately may be retained for future consideration as the Steering Group develops.

OCSA reserves the right to determine the composition, size, and remit of the Steering Group at its discretion.
